house calychantus
aldesago | switzerland | private | realized | 2010

The construction of the building, currently used as a two-family dwelling, dates back to the 1960s (1965-1966).
Located on Mount Bre, on the edge of the village of Aldesago, the building does not present a particular typological feature. It consists of a two-story main volume and is set in a large terraced structured plot.
The renovation work involves only the ground floor of the building and also aims to rehabilitate and maintain the building. The intervention does not change the current configuration of the roof of the house with respect to the panorama protection regulations, as the building results below the bundle of straight lines inclined 10 degrees below the horizon and drawn from the boundary of the plot at the height of 1 m above the panoramic roadway field.
